The Story of Thuli Hill Christian Camp

Founded by Rev. Lucky Moyo and Sifiso Moyo in 2008 upon the principles of Matthew 11:28. The campsite is situated on Thuli Hill in Gumtree, Umguza District, overlooking Bulawayo. The name Thuli comes from the Ndebele word "ukuthula", meaning quiet or peaceful. The founders decided to name the campsite "Thuli Hill Christian Camp" because it speaks to their vison of the founding principle.

At the heart of Thuli we wanted to create a space for all Christian communities and organizations within Zimbabwe and abroad, to come worship, share knowledge, minister, pray, rest, celebrate and escape the city.

Over the last few years, we had privilege to welcome many visitors from all over the world, young and old, church groups and organizations, leaders and scholars.

Most recently we have partnered with local companies and small business to enhance your experience, while ensuring that we grow the community, create jobs and support our local resources.
